I’m Jacqui, a former teacher and mom of two. I’m a self-proclaimed toy nerd, and my favorite thing to do is find new and unique educational toys for my kids, friends, and family. I’ve tested hundreds of toys (so have my kids!) and put all of my toy recommendations for toddlers ages 0-6 here in one place.

I started noticing that my kids’ toys were unbalanced. When it was time to rotate them, all we had were blocks and pretend play toys. So I sorted our toys into categories and built our wish lists, Christmas gifts, and birthday presents around them. Now our toys are balanced, and my kids get to build lots of different skills and interests.
